The world’s largest collection of specialist Dutch/English terminology
Hi, I’m Michael Beijer, Dutch⇆English technical/patent translator & terminologist with 30 years of professional experience. Correct and consistent terminology is critical in translation, which is why I maintain an extensive database of specialist terminology. This website presents a large selection from my carefully maintained terminology archives in a systematic and easily searchable format. Beijerterm is the largest collection of specialist Dutch/English terminology in the world!
Finding stuff
If you’re struggling with a pesky term there’s a good chance you’ll find it on Beijerterm. You have several options:
- Consult the many terms I have researched
- Browse the various Categories I use to organise the material
- Click the little triangles in the table below to sort on columns
- Have a look through the Tag cloud
- Try the search box above! Tip: put your search term "in quotes"
