The Grid is the screen area where your source segments and/or target segments are shown in context. You can toggle between display of both source and target segments and display of target segments only via the menu View | Target segments only.
Above the Grid you see the progression bar that gives an indication of the percentage of your project that you have completed thus far.
Next to this bar you see four arrow buttons:
Left arrow with bar Navigate to the first segment of the project
Left arrow Scroll the Grid n translation units down
Right arrow Scroll the Grid n translation units up
Right arrow with bar Navigate to the last segment of the project
NOTE: The number of segments n by which the Grid is scrolled, is set via the menu Edit | Options | General | Project page size (units).
The number of every translation unit is displayed at the right-hand side above the translation unit.
The currently edited translation unit is marked with an orange rectangle.
CafeTran displays character formatting in the Grid:
In the source segment and target segment box you still use CafeTran's easy to place tags to indicate character formatting:
