Working with CafeTran project packages
CafeTran allows you to easily exchange project packages with clients or colleagues. CafeTran project packages have the extension CTP and contain:
- the project's XLIFF file
- the project's TMX file(s)
- the project's source file(s)
- in future, CafeTran packages may also contain useful resources like glossaries (you can prioritise implementation of this useful enhancement by writing to moc.liamg|troppus.narTefaC#moc.liamg|troppus.narTefaC)
NOTE: CafeTran's package files are in fact ZIP containers. If for any reason you want to open them outside of CafeTran, just rename the extension to .zip and double-click on the zip file.
Creating a CafeTran project package
- From the Project menu choose Save project as …
- In the Save Project dialogue box click on the File Format list box.
- Select the Package item.
- Click on the Save button to save your currently loaded project as a package.
Opening a CafeTran project package
There are two ways for opening CafeTran project packages:
- Just press the Open project… button in the Project Manager or
- select the same command from the Project menu and choose a .ctp package:
