Unpack Transit projects automatically

Whereas SDL Studio packages can be opened with CafeTran, you will have to prepare Transit's PPF packages yourself.

Keyboard Maestro is a great tool to automate CafeTran. You can use a Keyboard Maestro macro to unpack Transit's PPF packages.

You place the PPF file on your Desktop and press the assigned keyboard shortcut:

PLEASE NOTE: You will have to make some adaptations to the macro:

  • The three-letter source language code (here DEU)
  • The three-letter target language code (here NLD)
  • The path to your Desktop (here /Users/Hans/Desktop/)
