CafeTran Help

Start CafeTran, click the Translate TTX, SDLXLIFF, SDLPPX, TXML files button in the Program Manager:

Open the TXML file via the Open dialog:

Clear the target segments (all target segments or only those where target=source):

Translate the project. Run all QA checks. Save the project:

Switch to Wordfast Pro. Reload the TXML file. Save the Target file:

Cleaner segments with fewer tags in CafeTran

Wordfast Pro starts nearly every segment with a tag:

When translating a TXML file in CafeTran, you benefit from better segmenting, which results in fewer tags:
