Let Cafetran Do The Formatting

In cases where you'd like to add formatting tags to the target segment, you can let CafeTran do the work. Besides using Typinator there are at least two possible ways to achieve this:

1. Add formatting tags to entries in the Auto-suggestion list

Example

Add the following entries to your Auto-suggestion list:

ct=Cafe<i>Tran</i>
h2so4=H<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub>
ch4=CH<sub>4</sub>
h2=H<sub>2</sub>
h2o=H<sub>2</sub>O

Now, in the target segment box just type ct, h2so4, ch4, h2 or h2o to insert the names with the correct formatting:

2. Add formatting tags to entries in the glossary

That's nice! But what if I use CafeTran's Auto-translation feature? Is there a way to let CafeTran insert the pre-formatted names into the target segment too? The answer to this question will not surprise you: yes, this is possible.

Example

Just add the tagged names directly to your glossary:

CafeTran\tCafe<i>Tran</i>
H2SO4\tH2SO4
CH4\tCH4
H2\tH2
H2O\tH2O

Note: \t stands for the tab character.

CafeTran auto-translates the names, while adding the formatting:
