This book offers reliable terminology prepared for the IGU by gas engineers and linguists. It includes more than 6000 terms in 10 languages - English, French, Czech, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Slovak and Spanish. Vocabulary is subdivided into 10 subject areas: sources of energy, sciences and engineering, production and storage, manufacture of gaseous fuels, LNG and LPG, gas treatment, transmission and distribution, utilisation, commercial, legal and administrative. The book contains definitions, drawings and bibliographical section. In an alphabetical index for each language, all the terms included in the vocabulary, appendices and drawings, are listed by languages and are given reference numbers.
